What do you love most?

The other day I was having dinner with a #privateyoga client. Her young son would express, weekly, that he’d like for me to join them some time.

So, I accepted a dinner invite and enjoyed a delicious meal in their home.

While we all chatted my client and her husband mentioned their absolute favorite activities, so I said, “Great, so you need to do more kayaking and you need to take more baths.” 🚣 🛁

In my head (even with their two young children) it was an easy tweak to be that much happier week to week, month to month. I’m not actually sure how they received that statement. I feel like it may have been overlooked by the common view that we don’t have time for the things we love to do because we’re too busy needing to do the things we HAVE to do.

If you’re inclined to tell me that I don’t understand how busy you are or to argue this in some other way, please just don’t because you’re missing the point.

Instead, ask yourself if what you’re about to say is really true. 🧐 Instead of pushing back on this idea, look for ways you can do more of what you love. 🥰 We’re all busy, and don’t need to justify or defend our schedules to anyone. AND what choices do you have?
